oh so sweet

it has definitely been a spring/summer of newborns...and i can't get enough. i love to see their fresh little faces and the overflowing amount of love that surrounds them. this little lady was only a couple days old and was already taking up plenty of room in mom and dads hearts.

and oh that hair! 

just when you thought she couldn't get any more adorable. she snuck in a smile...

little darling

have i mentioned yet how much i love newborns? so sweet, so little, so many wrinkles and rolls that i just can't seem to get enough of! if you've ever been in a newborn session with me you know that it is often hard for me to stop. so i was of course thrilled when i got the chance to photograph this little darling not even 10 days old. how precious is she?

and her precious little hands that seemed to be popping up everywhere!
they are so tiny but only for so long. i am so happy to be able to capture all those precious details.
these kinds of photos are my favorites. the ones that show just how little they are.
thanks for a fun session. hopefully we tired you out enough that mom + dad could get some rest too!

tiny dreamer

well he may not have made it through the whole session awake but he survived being scooted, turned and propped and didn't make a fuss. thanks to his good behavior mom + dad got plenty of sweet photos of their little man.

little fighter

this little guy is truly a blessing. he had a rough start to his little life but came through everything with flying colors. he has some awesome parents and a great support system that helped him every step of the way. i was honored to be able to provide them with their first photo shoot for their little man. and to be able to capture some of those little details that are so important to capture when they are so small.

this has to be one of my favorites. at first what you see is ten tiny toes...but if you look a little closer you'll see that the little guy has a smile on his face. guess he was having a good time :]

sweet pea

this little darling is only one month old and oh so sweet. i kept trying to put the camera away but she just kept being cute, what's a girl to do? so we may have had a slightly longer session but the results were well worth it.
